ALERT! Contaminated Cocaine in Seattle Have you been in an inpatient or residential facility in Washington State for substance use or chemical dependency treatment? We are gathering information to help advocate for culturally competent training at such facilities to better provide services to LGBT clients. Lifelong AIDS Alliance is one of the leading sources of educational outreach to gay and bisexual men in King County regarding HIV/AIDS transmission and prevention. Our volunteer-based gay and bi-sexual outreach program includes one-on-one interactions targeted to community members in bars, baths, streets, parks, and community events. Our volunteers also develop and produce educational events focusing on sexual safety and risk reduction for sub-populations within the community. Our prevention team partners with the local HIV Vaccine Trials Unit to increase awareness about HIV vaccine research. For more information visit www.bethegeneration.org and www.seattlevaccines.org/.
